Our off grid Homestead is just like everyone else’s homestead we have to heat our water for baths and it’s a lot of carrying water. I put this tank 8 foot high in the greenhouse where during the spring and summer it stays about 150 degrees. This tank worked well on top of the shower house but only allowed about 2 to 3 showers a day and the sun had to be out 100 present. Which living in Alabama isn’t unusual but those cloudy hot humid days when you really want a shower it wasn’t available. Putting it in the greenhouse should change that. The greenhouse gets warm even on low sun days.

We made it home for Thanksgiving and we cooked up a feast(no video of that to busy cooking).
We did however replace our old potbelly wood stove with a much more efficient gasifying wood furnace(heater). Well worth the money and sure saves a ton of wood.
Did a little work in the utility room (power shed). Just putting up shelves and making things more orderly. It was a mess in there.
Showing our new Road Island Red chickens we got last week. Only lost one to a baby opossum ended up killing three of the opossums to rid us of the problem.
Showed were I destroyed part of my property to create some better drainage for heavy rains. Will have to finish grading it later.
