We designed and constructed a control room and bathroom as an addition to the home. We also mounted the PV array on the concrete decked roof of the addition. This customer is now enjoying approx. 330KWH per month, of free solar energy and can power his home with 110V-240V electricity from the sun. This project was designed to be grid interactive allowing the system be completely automatic, therefore the system will automatically switch over to either JPS or an auto-start generator if or when the battery bank runs below 22VDC. It will also switch back to solar once the battery bank is recharge above a 25.5VDC setting.
