It has a rechargeable built in 950mAh lithium battery, and seems to charge up quite quickly the first time. I love the automatic sensing feature, the light lights up when you get within 3 metres of it and goes out 20 seconds after you exit its sensing range. I can think of so many places I can use this I may have to buy more: Under the stairs, the loft, cupboards, wardrobes, etc. It is also very easy to install, it has an 4x adhesive pads and also a magnetic field, I like the fact you don’t need tools, screws or nails to fit it. To install it peel the 3M back on the pads attached to the strip, then other side and attached where you would like the light to be, and place the light on the magnetic strip. Simple The design of it also looks quite sleek and stylish and I like its slim design. Love it. The lights I have are the 6000 K – 6500 K white LEDs and they are much brighter than I had previously expected.
