This is my latest project in which I am building a small, cost effective solar system for my shed. Many of my parts came from Midwest electronics (http://www.midwestsurplus.net/) and Mendelsons Electronic (http://www.meci.com/electronics.html). Both of these places are within an hour of driving for me.
A video of my small solar project at home. It works well and im pleased with it. I am prepared for a hurricane, when power goes, i will have lights. It also runs my desk lamp, radio and modem full time. I also charge my cell phone and dig. camera battery. Although i got some of the components used, everything is available at pricesmart.
